"I started Pilates at a very beginner level and was extremely conscious of my low level of fitness. Rachel immediately put me at ease. She has a gentle supportive approach which quickly puts you at ease. It’s remarkable how even on zoom, Rachel can see if I am practicing the techniques correctly!  I feel I am now much stronger and can attempt some actions I didn't think I could do before! I feel stronger and more confident. I look forward to my Pilates sessions because I know I can train in a safe and supportive space by an authentic, enabling and empowering teacher."

"As a man in his late 40’s trying to maintain fitness, running and competitiveness on the tennis court I was suffering from lots of niggling injuries and general stiffness. My job is very sedentary with poor shift patterns and often caused back pain. Having previously tried pilates in a large group a long time ago I started Rachel’s smaller classes over a year ago. Whether online or in person the smaller group sizes really work for me as Rachel is always on hand, keeping an eye on me to ensure the correct technique, giving options as required. She is very observant giving targeted adjustments. Sessions are varied with minimal equipment, occasionally I use an elastic exercise band. Her classes balance strength, core work and flexibility with emphasis on control. Good variation keeps them interesting and challenging. Rachel has also provided me with personalised individual exercises that I incorporate into my day, helping me maintain the strength and flexibility to keep the injuries and back pain at bay. Without doubt I’m now faster around the court and spending a lot less time in the physio clinic. Most importantly the classes are very enjoyable and now an essential part of my week. Highly recommended!"

"Rachel is a passionate Pilates instructor who has helped me improve my shoulder pain & stiffness and general well-being!

She has in-depth knowledge of anatomy and her detailed and precise method make me feel totally at ease and in safe hands.

I can feel how my core strength has improved along with balance and posture.

Rachel makes me feel safe doing all the movements, as they are done slowly and with deliberation.

Looking forward to many more classes with Rachel, I would thoroughly recommend her."

"I have been attending Rachel Potter Pilates classes for just over 2 years and I would highly recommend her to anyone. My experience working 1-on-1 with Rachel Potter has been amazing.

Rachel is a superbly kind, friendly and approachable coach. She advised me with a routine of stretches and strength building exercises to treat my injured hip. The results have been extremely positive where all others before her had failed to treat my hip pain. Rachel consistently made me focus on posture and technique demonstrating each exercise and correcting me when needed. Forever grateful for her expertise, knowledge and care."
